Cal Crutchlow: Stoner is in another league

British rider Cal Crutchlow believes it will be tough for Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa to wrestle the MotoGP title away from Casey Stoner in 2012 based on the reigning world champion's recent victories in Jerez and Estoril. The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team rider reckons the Aussie is ‘in another league at the minute’ after Stoner triumphed with a brilliant...

The Telegraph.... Pah, its a fucking comic!!

Anyway, Rossi himself has stated that there is no truth in this bullshit article.. I never believed it anyway, he wont go out like that!!

As for Cal... God i hope he doesn't join the Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa love fest... It makes me feel queezy hearing them gush over eachother all the time..... it is such bollox as all they are doing is being nice hoping the other wont put a hard move on them as "we are all mates".. As soon as one does then the friendship will be over and Stoner and Lorenzo will start crying again... It will happen!!!

Rossi retirement is, sadly, duff gen.

Who is up for a proper conspiracy theory?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jorge Lorenzo win the title this season and for Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa to start crashing from Silverstone ;) onwards when the new Bridgestone tyre suits the majority of the field more and the Hondas even less than they chatteringly do now. I'm sure Mr Nakamoto did say that they have to build a new RCV to suit the tyre. If any of the Ducatis (particularly the 46 bike) suddenly appear much faster then it'll be a conspiracy fact.

stoner banged fairings with pedro at the very first turn my matey. so that puts your theory out of the spotlight , is it a bad thing to like your rivals? those three are in an exclusive club , it would be a lousy club if they all sat alone at different ends of the bar like boulevard of broken dreams.

Jeez - OK - just saying what I saw, is all ...

I take it from the few comments in respect of THE TELEGRAPH thing that this erstwhile publication is perfect for cutting into 6 x 6 inch squares and putting/impaling on a nail inan ANZAC out-house - aka - the long-dropper?

Moaner - what would Cal know? Unlike your good, highly educated & GP experienced & hardened self ( the proof? - the calluses on your arse from your armchair) - Cal has now started in  36 x BSS races, (taking the Title), 17 x WSS Races (taking the Title), 50 x BSB Races & 28 x WSBK Races. Let's just add the  21 x Senior GP's and a few thousand klms in Testing & Practicing & Qualifying etc - usually at close quarters to other competitors - including Casey Stoner.

Nah - you're right again - as always. WTF would a "loser" like Cal Crutchlow know?

I always look for the missing answer or reader response in these "polls" - EG: you only get to answer YES or NO when they ask stuff like - " Will Cal Crutchlow maintain his MotoGP form?" Why don't people like "Moaner" get the chance to respond, "Who Cares?" Try & be happy. Cheers

Jamie...

... they're not even going to Donington (& haven't been for several years now) so that's your theory off to a great start.

Cal - what were you thinking!!?!!

Nothing could piss off the whinging poms more than having their great Blighty hope bigging up enemy #1 from Oz!

So why, you ask, did he do it?  My theory is that now the egos have left the front row, there is a new sense of honesty and respect creeping in.  Doesn't mean they aren't all desperate to beat each other - just that they feel no need to bullshit or belittle their fellow competitors.

Silverstone??

I'm sure you meant Silverstone instead of Donington. Big chip on peoples shoulders around here. One of your own (Cal) comments on Stoner's ability and you start ripping your own kind (Cal) a new one. So.... what are people going to do if Cal is right? What are you going to do when Flossi retires? Who are you betting on then? What if Cal ends up being a champ? You will back him after diminishing him?

gotta love it

seeing the rossi fanboys squirming as yet another rider heaps praise on the one and only.

Benny , based on this article what makes you think there are only 2 aliens?  according to cal it seems like 'consistent' Lorenzo cant even keep a candle to Stoner, let alone Pedrosa. The exclusice club of one then?

Pedrosa isn't an alien

He's close but no cigar. A world title in the last 7 years might help his claim though. When a rider has to have the words " on his day " included in any description of his history/form then I'd suggest he's not a true alien. He undoubtedly has the pace, on his day, and if everything aligned perfectly for him, or he cheated, he could be a true, true alien.
