A report in today’s Daily Telegraph claimed Rossi would retire at the end of his second season with Ducati, or even quit before the end of the campaign because of his failure to make the Desmosedici a competitive force in...

it does matter to a certain extent what bike your on as proven by rossi last year and this.....what i said was when u have 2 bikes(honda and yamaha)that are so close in performance that`s when the rider makes the difference as proved by stoner last year.........nobody had got on that honda and done what he has done or even come close...and ditto the duke...that`s the difference.....if pedrosa and dovi were still together on the honda`s it would be 3 straight wins for the yamaha.....and there u go that`s the differrence stoner makes.....and that`s the difference rossi made when he stepped on the yamaha in 2004.....but u rossi worshippers treat that like it was god like....but when stoner does it...oh it`s cos the bike is the best....FUK OFF U GOT NO ARGUMENT

if....

You could convince CS to go back to the ducati that he rode two years ago and have a go at winning the title on it..i guaruantee he would decline.....

The bike is dangerous....He rode it well for the first two years true...but as soon as the carbon frame went in he

was falling of way to much for his own liking....Hence moaning about the bike...ilness etc....

It was actually having to go risk life n limb riding a bucking bronco just to be near the front...

At 21/22 and with no championships to his name casey rode the duke on the ragged edge...and after winning on it....that even became to hairy for him...

I also guaruantee if  CS was 33 with numerous titles to his name he would be even les willing to risk injury purely to get a good result.....hey presto...we have VR46....

Of course you can't mention the orange thong in the same breath as Rossi. He isn't fit to polish Rossi's boots.
