Valentino Rossi rubbishes retirement talk

Valentino Rossi has moved quickly to dismiss reports claiming the Italian star was going to retire at the end of 2012. A report in today’s Daily Telegraph claimed Rossi would retire at the end of his second season with Ducati, or even quit before the end of the campaign because of his failure to make the Desmosedici a competitive force in...

Leemuz, I know you do your best to divert attention to Rossi's past achievments, but what's your take on the current situation? Why has he not yet delivered Ducati a win since late 2010?(Through Stoner of course) Why is he not a consistent podium finisher? Why hasn't he 'fixed' the bike yet? Y'know with him being a development guru and all. Nice simple answers would be nice. Don't do the usual and answer a question with a question.

Leemuz - 17mm ring/open ender (spanner).

Leemuz you tool, I said there were zero facts to prove the carbon Duc was a bad concept, another poster thought it would be fun to say there was no evidence to say it was good either. I believe the Duc factory bikes results were undeniable proof that the bike was better than the Flossed over version and 4th and 7th in a field of at least 9 factory bikes was nothing to sneeze at (look at the stats I added and compare them to 2011 and the current 2012 results for the aluminium Ducati). Add 2 years development into the carbon Duc and there's little doubt it would be a better bike than the current machine.

I'm not sure what the hell you went on to dribble about with the rest of your claptrap, but when you read, try to understand and maybe even check a few previous posts to see what people are talking about before typing piles of meaningless shit.

Making decisions on supposition is the game of fools, hence your references to the talents of 'definites' such as Kato and that bloke in your avatar, proves to me you are more a fan of a marketable TV persona than the topic of motorcycle racing. I suppose you think it's Prezzi's fault too? Fkn kids these days!

rossi is enternainer true. but behind the media, he is SUCKS! i forgot who said "if rossi not bad to other rider behind media, MAYBE this problems would not pop up". something like that. AND i agree very much with him.

rossi's personality

As with stoner, I don't think his personality either increases or decreases the quality of his riding.

rossi

i used to think rossi "is the man" , then jlo came along , and showed that rossi really was not as good as the "media" made out . in my view and many others , rossi was handed everything on a silver platter......or very close . he did little development work on the bikes he rode , he isnt that skilled at developing race bikes - this has showed over the last 18 months with the duck - . rossi has had threw out his career , the best crew cheif in the paddock , and the best bikes .

Kindly remind me

the year that Jorge won his title and in that year who he dominated. Oh....yea....he beat Rossi as he began his season with a bad shoulder he suffered from a dirt bike incident.

Then he continued with his domination when Rossi was out with a broken foot.

Then all of a sudden Dani Pedrosa started handing him his ass an then along come a partially healed Rossi and Roughed up his ass he ran to Father Management to complain that Rossi was not making him look like the 2010 World Champ.

Then Jorge advertised his famous Game Over for Rossi and his new claim as the Motogp new heir apparent and now his ass is 2 years removed from being the King as he so loudly proclaimed.

Then....Yep, Yep, JLo came along and showed Rossi, sure as shit, that he is incapable of taking the Yamaha M1 and making it the Number 1 Bike Manufacturer. At Least Rossi left Yamaha with the M1 at the top of the Mountain.

Don't worry all you haters....the GP is coming around....lets see, will you be kind enough to wait, if not hurl you shit at Rossi as a failure, but the bike is coming along, no matter what you all say, and need I remind you all....you cannot match Rossi, his crew and Ducati with anything mechanical, technical or anything motobike, PERIOD!
