Valentino Rossi rubbishes retirement talk

Valentino Rossi has moved quickly to dismiss reports claiming the Italian star was going to retire at the end of 2012. A report in today’s Daily Telegraph claimed Rossi would retire at the end of his second season with Ducati, or even quit before the end of the campaign because of his failure to make the Desmosedici a competitive force in...

Rossi and Stoner

It would be such a shame if these 2 retired. They are both great riders, just differant peronalities.

Rossi has done so much for the sport, and shown he is very talented. He really has obviously got a good working relationship with Gerry Burgess. They are a good team. It would be great if Rossi left as a champion.

In regards to Stoner,  hmm. He isnt old, and i think he has alot more he could do. Lets see him win on another bike, and with Rossi on a competitive bike. Now that would be an interesting season. maybe both on Honda's????

Respect to all the riders though. Moto GP isnt as good as it was with the 500's and early 1000's. Not sure about the rule changes, and such a shame to see riders have such bad accidents.

take off your rose coloured spectacles...most 500 races were shit!!!!....alot of 990 races were shit!!!.....rossi made them entertaining by playing cat and mouse with the other riders....gibernau being a prime example...and hat`s off to him for providing `the entetainment`....i think he did and does see it from the spectators point of view....and for that i love him
