Casey Stoner announces retirement

Quitting what he does best...

I'm baffled by Stoner's move... It's a dangerous job, isn't great for family life, but he's quitting what he does best. He may be committing to mediocrity... I can't see him settling down to that. Don't get me wrong, he may be pretty good at other stuff, but he's a genius on the bike. I'm afraid to say he looses points in my eyes - he's not the out-and-out racer like Agostini & others after all. I can't see him showing up at the Isle of Man to do a few laps... From the sound of it he intends to go off & waste his talent fishing. Sad.

MMM a seat for Jonny Rea

He`s well respected at honda why not ? I`would rather him stay in Worldsupers but thats my selfish opinion and the fact Moto Gp is too political ( eg it favors Italians n Spanish )

Casey

I remember back in 06 when cadet got that satellite Honda ride and he put it on the front row thinking wow this kid is gonna be awesome and he went on to prove it right. In 07 when he won on the duke remembering him from previous year I was glad to see him win the title despite the fact that he was challenging VR. He was quick back then and I respect him for been that quick. All the banter aside all I want to see is good battles Lorenzo stoner pedrosa and Rossi
