Le Mans MotoGP: Pedrosa steals pole

Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa will start tomorrow's MotoGP race at Le Mans from pole position. Pedrosa stole pole position with only a few minutes remaining of the session. The session started in wet conditions, though it wasn't raining, and the track slowly dried towards the end of the session. Team-mate Casey Stoner will start from second on the grid. Tech 3...

Your post is the pick of the thread, well done.

I agree that the Yamaha does look to be at least the equal of the Honda, and both Dovi and Cal are putting in a great effort. Good luck to both of them.

Lorenzo did express his approval for team orders but that was only once he became top dog at Yamaha, I do not recall any support for that concept when Rossi was in the same team.

Both the Yanks need to pull their fingers out to stay on factory bikes next year.

The yellow pantie brigade can breath a sigh of relief that their hero now has a chance of getting back on a bike that suits him next year, thanks to their nemesis retiring at the end of the year. Who will they have to denigrate  once Stoner is gone I wonder?

They will still find someone.  It is the nature of the beast.  I put it down to poor toilet training.

Go to the US or Aussie sites if you want discussion without the acrimony.

Wet race.....

.......normally means Dani out of the reckoning so a good chance of Tech3 placing. But which one? The cool, calm, classy one......................or the little Italian sporting a funny chin-wig?

Can't wait.
