Le Mans MotoGP: Valentino Rossi claims best Ducati result

Valentino Rossi came out on top of a captivating late battle with Honda rival Casey Stoner to secure second place and his best Ducati finish in yesterday’s rain-hit French Grand Prix at Le Mans. You are friggin alien. either that or a nutcase. Every riders best days are behind them because no one knows what the future beholds. No one would have guessed Saturday that Rossi would make a podium and without the aid of other riders falling. Dovi will never be an alien and certainly never be cool

School Playground, Good Race

Why are these forums now full of school playground arguments, its painful.

Nice to see a decent race in Moto GP at last and good to see Mr Rossi still has the ability to fight when the playing field is levelled slightly.

Fair play to #46

This podium was earned. Not inherited and not forced. Ducati and Rossi did a great job on the day. They used the tools at their collective disposal and achieved it.

Masterclass

Stunning ride from Rossi, the wet is the great leveler, his skill is unquestionable, Cal made the mistake of trying to beat Rossi at his own game, on a level playing field, but he's not ready for that yet.

Too old!! WSB Champ - Carlos 40, Max 40+ still something to be reckoned with, and would still see off the biggest part of the grid in MotoGP. You don't qualify to be The GOAT with a couple of world titles, like Stoner, but 9 world titles, and he's certainly got another one or two in him, wait till he gets back on the Yam or Stoner's ride, then Hondas will be poplular again, because Rossi is good for the sport and as hungry as ever, to be back on top.
