Exhaust in France - Law

Hi all, I have an Aprilia Falco SL1000 with SL caron cans fitted. It is loud!!
Bearing in mind that they are an option (as fitted by the factory), am I going to attract undue attention by the French police? Are they picky about loud cans?

they are and have sound meters

with the radars as well. Anything over 90db is bad. Usual traffic noise is 70db. Although strictly speaking they can do whatever they want without sound meters, the law there says:

Article R318-3

Motor vehicles should not emit noise that can cause discomfort to road users or local residents.

Try measure discomfort

Fines are from 68 to 450 EUR for late payments, and any verbal challenging with police in France can go really badly, it is a criminal offense just to challenge verbally police officer there...and they can seize the vehicle and let you go on foot.

The last time I met French cops has cost me 120 Euros, doing 90mph on motorway (legal limit there on motorway is 80mph).
