New swingarm confusion for Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi admitted he is struggling to explain why a new aluminium swingarm he tested with positive results in Mugello recently created major chatter issues during yesterday’s Catalunya test. Rossi felt the new swingarm improved corner entry grip in Mugello but he ditched it after the first day of practice at Catalunya because it created a chatter issue. Rossi tried again to...

On what evidence OcdCbr?

Did you hibernate throughout the entirety of 2011?

Wosi you slathering old mutt, when the other Alien in the Repsol team reiterates everything that Stoner says about the RCV's behaviour I think you'll find no small matter of consistency.

Whereas poor old Preziosi has Hayden who's perenially lost, and Rossi who's leapt willy nilly from pillar to post and back again, excreting a huge pile of Euro's along the way only to say he still doesn't like where his arse is on the machine?! When were Rossi's best dry weather Ducati performances? Yep on the GP10 based machine early doors 2011.  Remembering Stoner and Lorenzo went no quicker 2011 than 2010. A truly incredible display of extremely expensive reverse engineering, and all despite Uncle Carmelo's efforts to support Rossi - think more compliant tyres, and hinder HRC - late weight increase from 153 to 157kg and the additional chatter that brought to the RCV.

But you have to hand it to Rossi. Suckers like Wosi, Hardlylean and the cartoon janitor  (not to mention blogging fools like DE of MM) have lapped up his assertion that it's the machine that's failing him, and not the abundantly obvious reality that it's Rossi failing Ducati Corse.

Nostro and Bob are serial Rossi haters, for the simple fact that they fancy him and to try and suppress their gay tendancies they try to discredit him.

If I had to stick my neck out (and I'm glad I don't) I would say it was most likely a harmonic vibration issue that is accentuated by the different surface at Catalunya and possibly also the new front tyre.

So Benny why didn't they have the chatter issue with that swing arm at Muguello?

Quality not quantity.

Jeez it's difficult to make a point when you ladies put up that defensive wall. In all calmness you should just read without adding your own degree of drama to my comments.

Yes, Stoner/Honda appear to be getting nowhere with the 1000's appetite for chatter. He has already been critical of HRC's penchant for relying on his skill to pull what is clearly NOT the best package out there, through to the end of the season, without putting in their fair share of managing the bikes development. Florence is almost always slower than Hicky Nayden during testing only to outperform him come race weekend. He regularly touts any AND every upgrade as the second coming of the Stoner era Ducati, only to be unanimously absolved of any poor decisions regarding development direction when he declares the latest piece of whizbangery a total piece of shit not worthy of his nannas wheelbarrow!

Here's something to consider. Stoner wrings the neck of the Honda, rain, hail or shine, two laps or twenty laps, it doesn't matter. Honda have introduced very few 'hard' parts as fixes to the bikes issues despite their riders requests. Sound familiar? While Florence makes similar requests, gets more hardware and software upgrades than Milky's goat porn infested computer, makes grandiose statements about their effectiveness, then wonders why they don't work when he actually pushes them on race day.

Stoner is a harder worker AND a faster rider, this is clear. Florence won't help develop the Duc into a winner, simply because he doesn't have the skill, and quite frankly, never did.

Gotta hand it to you Wosi

...that is one hell of a wind-up post (your first one that is). Although labelling a two-time WC a failure and a quitter is a bit premature.

results will show him unable to back up championships......That's a mighty big call so early in the championship. Although it's plain to see JL has the field by the balls at the moment, riding like a boss! The guy is on rails lately.

Way below an improving Rossi who is steadily closing the gap to the Japs....if by 'steadily closing', you mean a tenth every 4-5 months, then I guess you're right. Although one would have though 18 million euro a season for a rider would buy you a little more bang for your buck.
