New swingarm confusion for Valentino Rossi

Valentino Rossi admitted he is struggling to explain why a new aluminium swingarm he tested with positive results in Mugello recently created major chatter issues during yesterday’s Catalunya test. Rossi felt the new swingarm improved corner entry grip in Mugello but he ditched it after the first day of practice at Catalunya because it created a chatter issue. Rossi tried again to...

Yes ok, Milky does some what go overboard on his attack of Stoner, but you can't take much notice of lap times on a test day. Who's to say that Rossi was testing the hard tyre for race preparation and everyone else was riding with a soft tyre to see how fast they could go.

I know testing times don't necessarily mean anything. Depends on the objectives they're working to.

However, wankers like Milky would be leaping up and down if the Ducati with his highness on board was on top of the timesheet. So it doesn't hurt to point out that by his own means of evaluating a rider's development skills, his little development god is not living up to past hype. Just for my own amusement.

Oh Buel

Why so serious...??

Just having a bit of fun. You remember that line don't you?

Fact remains that BOTH Honda riders had made their opnions clear on this tyre, not one rider had complained about the current tyre, yet Dorna still instruct Bridgestone to introduce the new one at Silverstone without giving the teams any time to test it properly beforehand. Apart from Ducati, who were given some to try at their private test at Mugello

Nice work Dorna.

What?

Everybody has complained about the current tyre and how difficult it is to fully access the performance on anything other than a perfectly set up bike in perfect conditions.

It seems also that through some strange twist of fete the old tyre suits stoner. But now that the old tyre has gone and something more accessible for most riders/manufacturers has been introduced, stoner is packing his bags and running away. Kwinkydink? Could it be that stoner owes all his "success" to a tyre manufacturer? I don't remember him doing anything other than keep the marshals busy before his move to Ducati and therefore Bridgestone with its super stiff construction.

Lets also not forget that the tyres are the same for EVERYBODY
