honest opinion

you should be hitting reserve around 150 - 160 miles ish

If you're getting more, then thats a high mpg. If you're taking it nice and steady without hard acceleration then these figures are easily achievable. If you start pinning the throttle everywhere, i'd imagine the light would have come on already. My 600's generally went onto reserve anywhere bewtween 120 - 160 miles

Hahaha guys. :lol::lol::lol:

Back to the topic though. I can drain the tank on the R1 in 100 miles. But on a very sedate sight seeing ride I managed to get 160 miles before reserve. So that milage on a ER6 is quite possible I would imagine.

On another note..... I did a tank on the CBR6rr on the Nurburgring in 4 laps. Thats about 52 miles. :blink:

FUZZRR

My zx9r b4 (yeah i know an old heavy girl, but if i told you about it and the price paid you'd understand)

Anyhow i've had to switch to reserve at under 100 miles a few times when i'm playing or when i went Silverstone.

But for general commuting and day to day, quite easily 150-160 before turning the tap (yes thats how old she is) hehe.

Gonna need 10 tanks of juice at least for my trip next week..... still cant wait :)

I have to fill up around 130 miles, or wait until the engine splutters. :wacko:
