Dani Pedrosa: Future speculation no distraction

Dani Pedrosa has denied intense speculation about his MotoGP future will impact on his chances of capturing the premier class world title for the first time this season. The Spaniard’s future at Repsol Honda remains unclear, though the triple world champion has told HRC management of his desire to remain on board the Japanese factory’s official squad in 2013. HRC has already...

I think Rossi will stay put...

I cant see him move until he gets a win... That should see his career out then ;) His pride will prevent a switch to Honda i feel..

So, who else thinks Yams new sponsorship deal with Coca-cola is the reason JL snapped their arms off trying to get then pen to sign the new contract??

Coke

I think the Coca cola deal was tied to Rossi not the factory ? Maybe if he gets a Satellite factory team ? As for Cal replacing Hayden, I can totally see that as a possibility... No disrespect to Nicky, but even if the bike was sorted I dont think he would trouble the podium often with the class of the field in GP now. I expect Ducati would like Cal on the bike given his aggressive style, might just work. I thought Cal was their back up if Rossi left though...

If the rookie rule is scrapped then there is a possibilty that Ducati could sign Scott Redding. He's too big for Moto2 and his style could very well suit the Duke. At the very least they could give him a test or two on the Bridgestone rubber during this season.

Redding

No disrespect, but what has Redding done to justify anything but a CRT bike?

Sail it like you stole it...

Would be a shame to see Captain Ped booted out.  I agree that he's become more humbled in the last 2 seasons even giving the nod to Jorgé on a couple of occasions.  I feel It's gonna happen though - Odds on Bradl and Marquez will take both those slots now.   Little Peds is still lightning fast.  Would do very well on a San Carlos machine, better than Bautista.  Wonder how much he'll end up losing out on wages wherever he goes.

Also read Cal could end up on a Ducati.  That really isn't a smart move for him....He's better off staying with Tech 3 if he can't get the Spies gig..  Funny how we're telling them what' they should do! (hahaha... am sure they all know what's best) I really like Hayden but he's had his day, he should either move to WSB (where he has a chance of winning - imagine a pairing with Checa?) or set-up his own dirt bike school.  Love that Drawl but then my wife is from the Mid-West!!

dani's time is running out

i think if Honda can get the rookie rule changed they will get Marquez and drop Pedrosa as they will still keep the repsol money that has kept Dani in the team for so long..

Pedrosa been in the team along time and still hasn't won the title, if it wasn't for the repsol money he would have gone a few years ago I'm sure

Thankfully Livio Suppo

recognises talent where half the dolts on this thread don't. He's stated Honda's priority (now that Lorenzo has chosen to continue with Yamaha) is to sign the only other Alien left in the field intending to compete 2013 - i.e - Pedrosa!

Nostro....

Heet le nail on le heed! At the moment Pedro is still the only man apart from Stoner to be able to trouble Lorenzo. Unless Spies rises from the ashes?
