Ago

It's gotta be Ago, the stats say it all. 66% win rate, plus the TT wins?? and more titles...gotta be Ago as the GOAT!!

Agoatstini.

Not good figures for those that constantly rely on regurgitating statistics to make a point.

Goat? Not even close, and in his prime, has to pray for rain for a half decent result on an ex-winning bike he's been developing into "'a bike anyone can win on" for two fkng years!

Ago is in this blokes head... big time! Hahahaha...

Rossi- and its not close

sure Ago raced against Hailwood, but the level of competition is MUCH better than ago's time..i'm mean racers ride on a knife edge these days, riders barely leaned the biked back then.

Are you serious?
It took a lot more skill and effort to lean a bike in the 70's and the angles were not that far off todays.
Try riding with the level of grip they got from their tyres in these days and you will realise they were just as brave if not braver.

Rossi has more competition ? no way. hailwood /read/pasolini/sheene/redmond/cecotto/saarinen/etc.beulligan is right it took a lot more skill to ride those old gp bikes.go to a classic show and take a look at the tyres /brakes and suspension.Ago won the 350 and 500 in the same season ,he won daytona on a tz750 yamaha despite having never previously ridden a two stroke or ridden at daytona,He won tts.Rossi is a one trick pony albeit a great one no question about that but ago is the man,Hailwood is still the greatest mind, and i have seen them all.
