So they want to make The United States of Europe to save the Euro, with Germany in charge.

What a brilliant plan, why did nobody think of that before?

I dont think "they" want to. The citizens of the "member States" certainly dont want it. Its just a realisation that anything short of this total fiscal/political ect union will see the end of the Euro.

What we`re seeing right now is headless chickens trying to think of a cunning plan or finding the silver bullet to save the Euro. There isn`t one.
Without the United States of Europe it will fail. It is failing. They are all in denial over this.
An earlier recovery will be achieved when this is accepted and dealt with by the politicians. They have real trouble identifying a dead parrot/currency.
Say what you like about the Tories...they`ve done a grand job keeping this lot at arms length. Of course we`ll be affected by the demise of the Euro but not as much as say, France.
