British MotoGP: Espargaro dominates Moto2 race

Spaniard Pol Espargaro followed on from his first ever Moto2 pole position with a dominating performance in the Moto2 race at Silverstone to take his second Moto2 victory. Brits Scott Redding and Bradley Smith both got excellent starts, Smith especially as he took the outside line from the second row of the grid to take the lead ahead of Redding. The pair...

Top man

What a ride from Scott, 110%, that put Marquez in his place. Scott's got to be in with a chance of a move to MotoGP next year.

Shouting....

Seems like everyone in the Luffield grandstand were shouting at/for Redding. The atmosphere was fantastic. A great ride by Scott and a well deserved rostrum for sheer bravery alone.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!! From redding. Now that's how to race! 150% Marquez despite his speed did not have the tools to stop such a determined redding. Marquez was giving 100% too. Great to see him getting duffed up after what he's dished out in recent times. Scott and cal made us Brits proud this w end!! Love to see Scott in the premier class ASAP.

Redding to MotoGP ????

Great ride by top 3 and gutsy last lap, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.  Redding to MotoGP. Give us a break, he's got to earn it.  Sorry Scott, stand in line.

That may have been a great ride, but he certainly ain't no Marquez.

Got to agree,

...a great ride from Scott that I wasn't expecting... Bradley got away well but is it the bike or him that's the restricting factor?... either way it needs sorting 'cos we saw some good racing from him for a couple of laps... still his best result this year so things are moving in the right direction. There's hope for British interest in GP racing.
