My partners bike was knocked over by a lorry who reversed in to it, the lorry then drove away. The accident was witnesses by several people and cctv, police won't do anything, the lorry comp has two weeks to report the accident, is this true?.  If anyone has been through this before please let me know of the outcome.

it easy to hit

something as small as a bike with a HGV and not know about it. Only in the last 12 months a HGV was seen on the motorway "pushing" a small car along...sideways.  Unless you have driven a HGV, you will never understand, nor will be able to comment on the liability of the HGV driver. The fact will almost be certain,..he just didn't see the bike, and is totaly unaware of the alleged incident.

utube hgv pushing car     and inside the cab of the HGV
