I love Gore Tex.......a lot.

Ive just ridden home from work in what can only be described as Monsoon type weather. It is pissing it down,i was dripping wet on the outside, but snuggly warm and dry on the inside.Expensive yes, but worth every penny on days like today.

yep

GT85 over wd40 every time. Smells lovely....

But yeah gore tex is great. Got Dainese seymour jacket and matching trousers and they have kept me dry on the inside when they are literally dripping on the outside. As long as you do them up right they are fine. No more need for an all in one waterproof suit.

Although when I get my enduro bike towards the end of the year I will be tempted to get a cheap lightweight jacket and trousers so the good stuff doesn't get ruined.

Goretex

Warmer and drier than leather

But boy, when fitted with winter linings, only put on 30 seconds before you are due to set off!!
