Dani Pedrosa to sign new Honda deal by Mugello?

The MotoGP paddock might be awash with rumours that Valentino Rossi will be back in Honda’s official factory squad in 2013, but HRC bosses publicly at least are saying that a new deal for Dani Pedrosa is close to being signed. Rumours about a Rossi return to Repsol Honda for the first time since 2003 have been gathering momentum since reigning...

Six of one, half dozen the other Benny

Given that Cal supposedly has a contract offer, and Nicky's being hung out to dry, I'm picking Ducati will play a waiting game. Spies, Pol Espargaro, Crazy Joe and Redding are the men I see needing to raise their hand for a desirable Team Red seat. Lots still to race for yet.

Rumour has it the King of cool has been sniffing around the WSBK paddock. Any truth to it Benny?

Bootlegger

No doubt, some see it differently. Right now, anyone contemplating employing Rossi is taking a huge gamble. He can't deliver on an L4 and has never raced a V41000 or 8004stroke. Adapting back to an inline 4 is questionable. The only common ground is alloy beam chassis.

You're not serious?

Engine configuratiopn, chassis etc. is irrelevant. These riders are the best in the world, if the bike is a good one they'll have no problem being quick. If you blinfolded them and put them on an unknown bike to ride, I doubt they'd tell you the engine config, capacity or frame construction.

He had no problem going from a 250 to 500 2-stroke and they're poles apart. 500 to V5 Honda no problem. V5 Honda to in-line 4 Yam no problem

Going back to Honda or Yam, it would probably take a handful of laps.

Rossi on Satellite bike

may not be such a bad thing if he funds his own team and brings a big sponsor with him. He may be able to get a full factory backed bike like the deal Simoncelli had in 2011. Even tho HRC don't want him in their colors, it would behove them to supply him with a factory bike thru a satellite team. This deal kinda saves face for both parties since their parting in 2003. Quote from A&S. "One rule that did get accepted was the limit on the number of bikes that each factory can supply. From 2013, each manufacturer will be limited to two factory entries and two satellite entries, though the wording is such that the spec of the machines is not specified. The two factory riders would naturally have factory bikes, but the satellite teams could also field a fully factory-backed bike, such as they did for Marco Simoncelli in 2011."

In my opinion Rossi will go to the factory Yamaha.

Espargaro,Redding,Spies,Iannone,Crutchlow two of this guys will go to Ducati.

I would ask one thing to MCN:How can I receive MCN in Portugal?

The way I see things. Spies stays where he is thanks to Yamaha USA. Rossi stays where he is one more season. Hayden to Tech 3. Cal to Ducati.

No YamahaGYTR. Dovizioso is a better rider than Hayden so he will stay at Tech 3, if not, maybr replace Spies atin the Factory Team. Take a look at the Standings. Spies is 9th and behind both Tech 3 Yamaha's and both Factory Ducati's
