Redding finished third to claim his third Moto2 podium in the last four races and he made it clear to MCN...

It's a shame Smith's on the tech3 as I could see Scott doing well on that. It'll be nice to finally see him on a Moto GP bike.

Go for it Scott

Young and maleable steel will adapt better than rusty old iron ever will. Any moto2 racer with half a chance should jump at the opportunity to get a full factory GP ride. As proven by young Casey, the Ducati can also be a career maker. Ah ! The joys of youth.

Good. The sooner the big lump is in MotoGp the better. The futures bright, the futures 'Red on Red'.

Well put Bootlegger

No pre conceptions from the young fella's moving up a class. They will come into MotoGP knowing they HAVE to adapt to the machine, not expecting the machine to tune into the rider.

Interesting to note the talk so far is only of Marc VDS moving up with a leased satellite bike, and not any mention of the factory bike. Fair enough I suppose Scott still has a bit to prove. But the GP world is not blind. The young man has oodles of talent, and a very professional group around him to focus that talent properly.

The D16 really isn't that bad - Jeremy Burgess paraphrased comment here. Let's hope MotoGP happens for Scott 2013.

If this happens it will spice up the paddock in so many ways what will be more interesting does Scott taken Pete Benson the same crew chief who helped NH to the title in 2006 with him to Ducati should the deal finalise.
