Sachsenring MotoGP: Casey Stoner makes last lap blunder

Casey Stoner blew a golden chance to seize the outright lead in the MotoGP world championship yesterday when he crashed out of contention for victory at Germany’s Sachsenring track on the final lap. The Australian was bracing himself for a last corner attack on Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa but he lost the front of his factory RC213V machine two corners...

here's an interesting take on the current state of MotoGP from BMW.  they're in no doubt why the series is where it's at currently ...... and pull no punches.

BMW

moaning too much. they know that they cann't win against super technology by honda and yamaha. people wants and challenge BMW to enter motogp, but obviously they cann't win anything. excuses always comes at the end.

btw, this time it's stoner fault. over confidence. as stoner fans, i'm so regret about this. i though he is more mature now. but sometimes pride took people down. :)

How about a 2 x race formula with less laps maybe 14 per race qualify for 2nd race by reality from first race, yeah like WSB I know but could be good

have a bibby

ive never seen so many angry disappointed people commenting all over the net complaining and criticizing a rider for binning while racing for a win!! if he didn't go for it the complaining would be about the boring race with pedro running away. it seems no one actually knows what they want. either that or they simply love complaining , it can only be one of the two.

I dont think they are all complaining

I don't think they are all complaining. There seems to be a great deal of mocking involved also.

marshals

maybe stoner felt that if rossi fell, all of marshals come from nowhere to help. but when he fell, only 2 or 3 marshals came. that include late help from them. well, some part he right, some part is contrast. so let's roll next race.
