Tyre size

I am converting a Honda Dominator to a street tracker. I will be getting the front wheel rebuilt to 19". I want to put sport or supermoto rubber on both rims. What is the widest tyre I can use which has got a reasonably high profile.

I was thinking of Michelin Pilot Road 3 110/80 x 19 front & 160/60 x 17 rear. Will I need to get wider rims & if so will aluminium be better than stainless steel.

I want the look of high profile (as with knobblies) but I want good road handling.

Can you advise, thanks

Alan
