best tyres for a yamaha xj6s diversion

hi I've got a 2010 Yamaha xj6s diversion which for some reason has a Dunlop front and Michelin rear tyre, which seems a bit odd to me even though I've only been riding a year. plus what with all the rain we've been having I don't feel really confident going round corners on them. can anyone recommend a set of tyres for both wet and dry, I ride my bike every day, to work, the shops, see friends and just for the hell of it so I would like help choosing the right tyre to keep me rubber side down thanks.
