Mugello MotoGP: Lorenzo eases to victory

Lorenzo took advantage of Dani Pedrosa running slightly wide at the first corner to lead from start to finish. Pedrosa finished second, but was unable to keep up with his compatriot. Tech 3 Yamaha rider Andrea Dovizioso claimed his fourth podium finish of the season...

Just posted similar thoughts in another thread.  It was too dangerous.

Congrats to Jorge and Dani.  Casey made the wrong decision with tyres and followed it up with an excursion to the gravel.

Bummed that Nicky couldn't podium.  Good ride, otherwise.

Good race all around and Hayden making that mistake right near the end but 12 seconds behind the winner is good progress biggest disaster Ben Spies seriously he needs to part ways with Houseworth or something or is it the threat what Jarvis issued during the off season what has got into his mind. There was no one who could have stopped Lorenzo faultless ride.

Cal Crutchlow

wow, just incredible how Cal is able to find reverse gear on a MotoGP bike each and every race. Pathetic. Put to shame by his teammate AGAIN, put to shame by a rookie, and to top it all put to shame by an old man on a Ducati.

If it wasn't for the gifts given by both Stoner and Hayden that would have been an eighth for Cal. If Cal has any sense at all he'll go and have a word with Bradley Smith and kindly ask for pointers and tips on how to move forward at the start of a race instead of going backwards.

Cal reckoned he had the pace to challenge for pole on Saturday, even if that were true what good is it if you keep making such crap starts, and on a bike with launch control for Christ's sake. And as for Spies, the less said the better but he has absolutley no genuine claim for that works M1 at all. Give it to Dovi and be done with it.

good ride by vale, but it won't take the hater's and armchair heroes long to come back with the "he was lucky" and he's "past it" comments.  awesome riding from the top 7 as a whole and it'll be interesting to hear casey's comments on the pass considering the past bitching he's given others for lesser offences.  gutted for bradl, awesome ride and would have been good to see him on the podium.

Jorge brilliant again would have the season won by now but for Bautista no worries.. Other stand out rides from Rossi, Bradl, Dovi ... No doubt the excuse book will be rewritten this weekend as Livio has already written the first chapter... Unlucky for Nicky and Hector, really felt for Hector afterwards. No shame hector you're on a shit version of a shit bike...Nickys, was amateur hour again(after sachsenring??) but the yanks are the only ones daft enough to pay twice as much for half the handling so it's the panigale's best market.... Well now Casey?? penalty?? should be, that's two strikes this weekend. Those halfwits on eurosport justifying it because he was quicker than Alvaro, then why didn't he just pass him cleanly???.. As an aside Casey when you went off, it was slowish, you stayed on and your engine kept running and you still lost nearly 15 secs, still think that it's the marshalls fault you didn't get a podium at the sachsenring when you did fall off and your bike stalled?? you probably do..whihc says it all. Top Ducati again for Rossi, first rule is to beat your teamate..
