ECU glitch halts Valentino Rossi’s Mugello test

Valentino Rossi’s hopes of getting in vital development miles on a revised Ducati GP12 engine in Mugello were wrecked by an engine management glitch that forced the Italian to miss most of the afternoon session. The Italian had only completed 23 laps when a new ECU failed at Turn 12 and Rossi crashed out as a result. The 33-year-old was unhurt in...

The incident with Bautista

was bad enough, particularly the arrogant remarks stoner made about it afterwards, but that was down to poor quality riding on stoners part. Its just a shame casey didn't/dosen't have the strength of character to apologise for his stupidity.

The one that disgusts me the most is the Petrucci incident. Whatever Petrucci did, it dosen't give stoner the right to DELIBERATELY ram into him. The guy is arrogant and he has a temper. He's also the first to cry long and loud if someone gets within 6 feet of him on the track. He's a total hypocrite and I have no time or respect for him.

And I'm gonna laugh so hard the next time someone dishes one out to stoner, coz he'll get no sympathy from anyone.

True colours etc etc

You'll find a article on crash.net where Stoner does apologise to Bautista but sure if Casey had that done on him there would be fireworks.

The bottom line..

...most posters on here get so bent out of shape about these incidents it's laughable. It's racing, and like it or not that's how it's always been! Nice to have Wosi back..

Its not racing when its deliberate

Elbowz, I assume casey walked up to Bautista, took his helmet off and apologised in person?

Apparently thats the only way to do it.

Apology

No he apologiesed on twitter later that day apparently..?

I think it's laughable how peeps think VR so shit when he is riding in positions that CS was quite often in...

Fair enough...been a rookie with no world titles to his name he was willing to push alot harder than a man with so many titles and so much money...

That and other reasons....were contributing factors to his winning the title in 07....

After that he went backward in regards titles...Because the bike was shit...and still is well under performance of the jap bikes....VR is basically handicapped by riding a s**t bike...

Leemuz, weak argument mate. The last time I checked, you race to win, rookie, champion, whatever.

Your worst yet. If he has titles and money, why is he even out there? I can't wait for this answer! Haha...

Love the way....

....Alvo took it like a man and just got on with it,

imagine if someone didi that to Stoner his toys would be well and truely out of the pram standing at the side of the track aplauding/slaping people on the back..etc

Take note Stoner this is how men behave

Reality.

Dovi doesn't want a factory Ducati because he believes the bike is uncompetitive at this stage. He said so on the BBC's coverage of Mugello and, he's had a shot on a factory Repsol RCV for three years and won one wet race that he wouldn't if not for conditions and others crashing or picking the wrong tyres..

Is Bob really saying, all bias aside, Dovi is a better bet? Talk is cheap..would you put cold hard cash on him over Rossi on the same bike?

This is all ignoring the real world..Deserve has got next to fk all to do with it. It's big business with lots of money involved and Rossi brings more of it to the table than anyone else..by a long way. Ask Jarvis and Yamaha.

As for the state of MotoGP and the lack of bikes, blame lies squarely at MSMA's door..for that read Honda.

CHR..
