Help with stalling please

Hi

Can anyone advise please? I have a 2005 BMW FS650CS.  She runs well but today after a long trip she started stalling when I'm rolling to a stop and changing down the gears. She starts up fine. I noticed it started after I'd fuelled up. Is it possible it's bad gas?
Thanks
Debbie

It could be water in the new fuel and being a fuel injection i don`t know how it would cope, kcmc will have more idea and maybe the meths solution.

Any info on what brand or octane rating you put in?

It could be some dodgy petrol, run a couple of tanks of good stuff through and see if the problem clears up.  As a general rule stay away from supermarket petrol.  It's usually poor quality and bikes often don't like it.

Stalling

Thanks, it was the normal stuff - not the premium. It wasn't a supermarket. I've lost the receipt but think it was shell. I filled up at the one next to the Raven cafe in Whitchurch. It was chucking it down at the time. I normally fuel up at Tesco and have had no bother before. Thanks for the advise. Will it do any harm to run the fuel low or shall I try to squeeze some premium stuff in?

Stalling fixed

Thanks for the advice. Took her for a run tonight to see if it was my imagination. What a mare, stalling every time I shut off the throttle. I was doing 40mph in the outside lane and she stalled changing up the gearbox. I topped her up in Tescos with the premium stuff costing me £4.00 and hey ho, problem solved. That's me boycotting Shell crap:lol:
