Compensation for injuries to rise 10%

It was announced yesterday that for compensation settlements after April 2013 the amount awarded for injuries is to rise by 10%. Good news for accident victims. The question arises though - what if your case is ready to settle now - do you wait? I suspect insurers will take a view and settle at the higher amount hereon. We shall see.

Compensation increase

I hope that doesn't mean that all our insurance policies will be going up by 10% as well.
