Poll: Is Rossi making the right move?

It's looking very likely that Rossi is on the way back to Yamaha. Is he making the right move?

Flippin' 'eck

we're up to forty frames a year for HRC now. Sounds like they were pit stopping during races for a new chassis. The shite that comes from their mouths.

Melandri himself ruined his GP career. Not mentally strong enough to compete with the young guns. He had a mediorce year on the Kawasaki thing and then moaned his way through another HRC year.

Mods

Forty frames in a year does seem rather a lot, but it doesn't alter the point that Honda/Yamaha wheel out the mods and upgrades far quicker than Ducati and more importantly they are all made 'in house', so the experts in all fields of development are on hand 24/7 and are conversing with one another.

Rossi owned??

If Rossi gets back on the Yamaha, no ones going to be owning him. He loved that bike and he only left because he backed himself in a corner and Yamaha called his bluff. For some reason the Ducati just doesn't suit his riding style, but back on the Yamaha he will be a force to be reckoned with once again.

Move to yamaha

The ducati is definatly not a bkie that suits rossi's riding style. Needs to move to Ya,aha asap and start winning races again.

Hedgehog - your missing my point I am stating rossi has had no joy on ducati and needs to swap to yamaha asap. The reason been he has had another crap season on the ducati. We can argue till the sun goes down on possible outcomes but the truth will come next season in the results he gets. At the end of the day it's the best move for him and he can't do much worse! Whats he got to lose? He's already proven he is one of the best racers ever. All he needs to do now is hang on to some race wins for the twilight years of his career. If he wins another season I am sure thats unexpected bonus. Its better than ending a glorious racing career on a bike he can't ride getting mid table results.

I am happy that Rossi is going to YAMAHA but I have a question;

Why didn’t DUCATI resurrect the bike that STONER won the 2007 WC with, stick the 1,000cc motor in it and see what ROSSI could do with it.
In 2007, they had the best bike by far.
I think they got too clever and engineered themselves a pig-in-a poke.
Millions spent on Carbon this and Carbon that and many other changes when they had the best bike in the first place!

The only thing that needs taming is your incessant verbal diarrhoea.
In case you didn’t understand that, it basically means, stop constantly talking SHIT!
Or better still, just go away.
