Jorge Lorenzo sad and surprised at Ben Spies exit

MotoGP world championship leader Jorge Lorenzo says he is sad and surprised that Yamaha team-mate Ben Spies will leave the Japanese factory at the end of 2012. The Texan dropped a bombshell on the eve of his home race at Laguna Seca last weekend by announcing that he will leave Yamaha’s factory squad after a disappointing campaign. Of Corse George is sad Ben’s leaving. He makes him look like he’s doing an even better job than he already is!
I’m looking forward to some close racing and team angriness next year.

Development geniuses all of them...

What is it about these Italians that they seem to think that god has exclusively blessed them with the ability to provide the concise feedback required to move the development of a racing motorcycle forward, I mean has Melandri completely missed Rossi's performance over the last season and a half? Maybe the Pope is handing out development genius sainthoods to these clowns.

Like the "crock of shet" Yamaha M1 which Ben is riding.  Oh no, that's actually quite a good bike.  It must be Ben and his crew then.....

Riders don't develop bikes at first I thought it was their job eventually knew they don't do that its the engineers job to do all the development stuff and the rider gives the feedback on where the bike needs improving.

Get real for once.

said ''its the engineers job to do all the development stuff and the rider gives the feedback''    True enough - given that Ducati have had three riders giving feedback all saying ''no feel from front end'' i.e. Stoner, Hayden and Rossi, with Rossi having Burgess as development engineer - does this mean the the Duke's design is fundametally flawed and can't be fixed   or  are all three riders giving rubbish feedback ? Thoughts from anyone please (even insulting ones).

I think that Ducati is flawed hard to explain why. People were taking the piss out of Stoner for giving rubbish feedback but yet he still won on the thing. I happen to think Ducati aren't taking notice of what their riders say and they do things their way.

@thejudge.

Been saying that same thing what you said he needs to do that for his own sake instead of being a complete dick other riders have booted their manager and it does bring success.
