Jorge Lorenzo sad and surprised at Ben Spies exit

MotoGP world championship leader Jorge Lorenzo says he is sad and surprised that Yamaha team-mate Ben Spies will leave the Japanese factory at the end of 2012. The Texan dropped a bombshell on the eve of his home race at Laguna Seca last weekend by announcing that he will leave Yamaha’s factory squad after a disappointing campaign. He must have known or at least sensed the return of Rossi. With Rossi in the horizon there was noway he could have kept his ride.

Rev Benny, you are a very sad pathetic internet troll -  please, please can we please get this idiot off this forum once and for all!!

From a pragmatic point of view Ben is better of in WSB, he clearly hasn't met Yamaha expectations, he is a fantasitic proven rider at Superbike level and maybe more suited to WSB machines. If he does go to WSB, good luck to him, shame to see he didn't become the 5th Alien as many people hoped.

There are many reasons behind it like being made to look a test mule or even worse riding parts rejected by the lead rider in the team. More will soon come out such as parting ways with the crew broken sub frame and most recently the swing arm snapping watch the space.

MotoGP losing Spies is another nail in the coffin for the elite class following Casey's retirement at the end of the season.

Simon and Corn

you guys need to grow a pair if you can't handle a guy describing someone as a "limp lettuce". Are you seriously that fragile?

Afterall, the good Rev is only exercising his right to a point of view, is he not?

The only way Jorge

Could be sad and surprised is if he reads Motorcycle history ,for goodness sake MCN its over a week since Spies "news" came out and your still babbling on as if it was an hour ago,Yet at the same time not a word on Silverstone WSBK at the time of your posting ,This paper used to be an insight and cutting edge now it is down to Crash.net and BSN to be more up to date, please sort it out, with this and this weeks edition being full of the same bildge ,it getting more like Motorcycle news of the world ,and thats without the mag being padded out now by classified ads take those out whats left sorry MCN it has to be said
