Spada Boots?

For a first pair of boots:

Hurricanes VS Predator WP VS ST1 WP

Should I splash out the extra money and get the Predator / ST1 or save the money with the Hurricanes? [on budget btw]
If I go with Pred' / ST1 which one should I go for?

Oh and I will be a daily commuter  if that helps

What budget

have you set?

If you're daily commuting, waterproof boots are nigh-on essential, but try not to skimp too much; boots need to be reasonably warm as well when its cold (some boots, whilst waterproof and dry, get bloody cold), and of course, offer protection - some boots are more protective than others in a spill. Don't forget also, being able to walk in them is important - heavy, clumsy boots can be a pain here.

Budget = £100

for the boots I don't wana pay anymore than 100 the ST1 or Preds' look better than the hurricane in terms of warmth and general use?

Ideally I want an all year round boot so I don't have to buy a winter / summer pair. The Spadas look like they would be a good buy but any good alternatives in the same price range?

Boots on a Budget

£20 for a pair of ex-para boots. The German ones are best.

For waterproofness, get some SealSkinz socks :biggrin:

Yup. Ex Army boots. More than enough protection for the road (I have crashed in mine :ph43r: ) and comfy to walk in when you get to where you're going... :smile
