Yamaha announce Rossi's return

Valentino Rossi will make a sensational return to the factory Yamaha MotoGP squad after signing a two year deal that will see him line up alongside bitter rival Jorge Lorenzo in 2013 and 2014. The move will see him reacquainted with the Japanese manufacturer where he enjoyed one of the most successful periods of his illustrious career. Rossi first rode for Yamaha...

So much for hubris

Rossi humiliated by his Ducati failure and humbled with his Yamaha's return.

Fellow 46 Fans.

Those Saying Stoner Quit coz he couldn't hackit anymore and was scared by the goat going back to Yam seriously need to get out a bit more and take a reality check. I'm a huge Rossi fan but also a realist he's not gonna have it all his own way back on His M1, But he'll race the arse off it, be at the front and have fun winning a few.

Together with the last time you go to a Motogp, make it the last time you comment on here as well.

Dovi at Ducati?

A big part of Dovi's armoury is his braking. Give him a bike with a vague front end and his results will nose dive.

Your hatred of Ducati is spurring you on with some slightly silly and far-fetched claims...

No one wants to ride for Ducati. No one. Its the only bike out there these days that is spitting ridders off. So not only is the ducati slow its dangerous. Fucking frauds are what ducati are.

How many times has Bautista thrown his Honda down the track? Several. Stoner one in a race and a practise crash?

How many times have Spies, Dovi and Crutchlow slung their Yams down the track. Double figures I reckon.

For Ducati, Hayden has had 1 quali crash and that was a damp track. Not sure whether to mention Rossi or not, but 3 as I recall..

So, remind us again, which is the only bike to be spitting riders off?

No-one wants to ride it?  What about Hayden, Crutchlow, Redding, Iannone, not to mention Dovi who may have signed for next year.

Professionals

As much as these guys race for the glory of it, they are in it for the money too. If any of them are offer a factory ride by Ducati, they will snap their hand off.

Crutchlow and co will know deep down its highly unlikely they will ever win a world title, so will do the best they can achieve at this level, and being offered a full on factory seat is a reward in itself.

Rossi have been given a huge amount of stick over under achieving, and rightly so with this alien status. But he's battled and beaten Spies and the likes on an inferior bike.

until someone appears out of the pack in the way Lorenzo or Stoner did, it makes total sense to give the elderstatesman his last hurrah.
