Casey Stoner slams Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha return

Casey Stoner has criticised Valentino Rossi’s swift return to Yamaha after the Italian legend recently confirmed he will quit Ducati after a disastrous two-year stint with the Bologna factory. The 33-year-old has been a shock failure to perform on board a factory Desmosedici and will return to Yamaha next season to partner bitter Spanish rival Jorge Lorenzo. When Rossi arrived at Ducati...

Let 'em 'ave it Casey!

"We could turn the Ducati into a winning bike in 45 seconds" and "Stoner's not doing enough" Burgess said. Damn right they are eating humble pie. I didn't know Vale sported the "Let's stick together" motif. Perhaps this weekend he should wear "Let's fuck off while we can."

Quit on Ducati and now is quitting on all his fans from motogp so where s his justification for his little outburst lol I think it's a definite case of frying pans n kettles

Maybe a litttttttle ott from Casey...

But then hey, if we were in his shoes maybe we would be too. Still though, he has a very valid point... And this quote sums it up for me: "Valentino obviously doesn't want to push limits and ride a bike that is not perfect. He has admitted that. If he's had a bike that is that good in Yamaha before and hasn't had to push when the bike is not perfect then God knows how good that bike is". Love that

Sounds fair enough to me, but let the Stoner bashing begin.

You cannot say anything negative about Rossi without his oompa loompas going bananas.

Stoner is the best rider team Duck has ever had , they quit on him . He stood by them for 4yrs, and told Ducati there was problems with the handling , and they did nothing .

Last moan before he fucks off.  what about poor Honda.  Like Ducati on 07 he came onto a good bike, then never won another championship from then on. Each year finishing futher down the order with more front end crashes than you can shake a stick at. Now it looks like the same with Honda.  year one = win and this year looks like a second.  No wander he is getting out as Yamaha will not want him to wreck that bike

To all 15 Stoner fans. What are you going to do next year. Let me give you an insight. You will get up in the early hours of the morning every other weekend to tune into Stoners YouTube channel and watch your hen pecked hero mow the lawn on his HRC painted ride on mower thinking of what could of been if it was not for the boss of HCR, oh sorry I meant the Mrs telling him to quit. Or was it the fact that he left Ducati with a shite bike, now he has done the same to HRC after jumping on a well sorted Honda and due to his input sends the bike backwards

But spare a thought for all of the MotoGP TV crew's around the world who have now been asked to take a pay cut now they don’t have to try to find the one fan with a Australian flag in the crowd

Guess the Mrs will not let him return now Rossi is back on the Yam as she remembers all to well how many times he fell whilst Rossi was chasing him down

Stoner could not ride the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 bike any differently to Rossi, they have tried their best. I reckon there is someone in Ducati who likes a fight and will not let change happen. Stoner would not be at the front with Honda if it wasnt for Rossi and Burgess, neither would Lorenzo.
