Casey Stoner slams Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha return

Casey Stoner has criticised Valentino Rossi’s swift return to Yamaha after the Italian legend recently confirmed he will quit Ducati after a disastrous two-year stint with the Bologna factory. The 33-year-old has been a shock failure to perform on board a factory Desmosedici and will return to Yamaha next season to partner bitter Spanish rival Jorge Lorenzo. When Rossi arrived at Ducati...

Let's stick together

Can't handle the truth Rossi fans? Personally I hope Jorge creams him next year. Rossi should of done the decent thing and retired.

Have a grizzle you lot !!!

What a bunch of frigg'n girls.  Week after week we are seeing arguably 4 of the best riders in MotoGP history fighting it out and all you lot can see is the personallities.  Try focusing on the skills rather than taking sides.  You may even find you'll enjoy the races.  Quite frankly I couldn't give a toss if Stoner hates Rossi or Rossy thinks Stoner is a quitter.  It's what they do on the track that counts and Jorge and Dani are counting higher than both of them at the moment.

A cynical piece of manipulation for profit

is what this 'article' has now been shown to be. It's not an interview, it's a collection of out of context quotes used to generate page hits and profit for its various publishers. Mr Birt - you put your name to this - how can you ethically do this?

Casey says he has been taken out of context

Casey says he has been taken out of context. Check motomatters indi conference transcript.  I think this makes casey look worse. Apparently these are a series of comments that casey has been making over the last eighteen months. The pet shop boys -always on my mind song comes to mind. I think Casey needs to let what ever slight he thinks Rossi gave him go. Casey needs one of his girlfriends to tell him to "let it go honey"

marcia (rossi) marcia (rossi) marcia (rossi)

Now Casey has another thing to add to his hate list - MCN.

I just don't get why Casey is so miserable all the time. I mean sure someone might annoy you every now and then, but Casey seems pissed off at just about everyone.

It is a "capital F" Fact...

...that the Rossi haters (poor sods who never have been Moto GP fans in the classic sense, but rather Johnny-come-lately types who just cheer for any bike or rider that finishes higher than #46) comprise an awesomely brainless horde of immature, pathetic, clattering buttocks that are FAR more insufferably annoying than Rossi's fans EVER WERE back during his days of total domination.

As much as I'm looking forward to some victories from The Doctor next year, I'm equally looking forward to the deafening silence coming from where the haters used to be. With Rossi's struggles drawing to a close, the anti-Rossi trolls can simply resume their forty-something-year-old lives, spent living in anonymity, holed up in their parents' spare bedroom, enjoying free room and board, leeching internet off the neighbor's Wi-Fi, once again occupying virtually all their waking moments watching porn.

Good riddance.

It would now seem that the whole "quote" was written over a years worth of chat, and lets face it he only said what he thought, the real thing which most seem to miss is the fact that Mr "Stack and fold" Stoner is not god and has only won 2 titles to date / this year he may come 3rd. Most of the real fans will remember how no-show Spencer tarnished his memory (great rider) but PR disaster / 2 world championships in one year. But do we put him with Rainey, Lawson, Doohan (No) and the same will happen to Casey, we will all recall in 10 years how fast he was and what a rider but a great? I don't think so / could of been. Rossi love him or hate him can sit at the top table with the boys and will go down as a "great of his time" - this part being the key. If he grabs a single win after 2 years on the moped then comparisons to Mike the bike will be a many. But as all of us know nobody will reach those heights.
