Why is it that

the day after you sell your bike, not only does the sun come out but you get over 20 bikes ride past your front door on a ride out somewhere.

Maybe one

of the bikes that rode past your door was the one you sold :winkie:

Are you getting another bike?

Unfortunately

not for the time being ..... had to sell it in order to replace the car that had decided to mangle some valves when a dwell pin sheared on the camshaft pulley.

Hopefully will be able to get another one in a couple of years time or so.

Unfortunate indeed

Well hopefully good fortune will come your way and you'll be back on two wheels sooner than expected.

Don't forget to check in here every now and then for a fix of scintillating wit and entertainment :winkie:

Selling your bike

I'm sorry to hear that the bike had to go.  Hope you get back on two-wheels soon.

Anyway, aren't their issues of morality surrounding selling a bike to buy a car?  :smile

That's awful.

I can't imagine how that would feel. I get withdrawal symptoms on Thursdays, the only day of the week I don't use the bike.

Really hope you find a way of getting another bike soon.
