reliability?

i know they are not going to be as good as the jap bikes, but is a bike such as the Rieju going to be reliable or keep breaking down every time i go to school or into town?

No

i wouldn't have thought any of these bikes from new wouldn't break down and be unreliably, but with all small capacity bikes and scooters they are designed to do short hops around town, not to be held flat out for very long periods of time,if its going to be on roads where it will be held at its maximum speed for more than a couple of miles you would need to go to a bigger capacity engine than a 50cc to have the RPMs lower to be sure of reliability.I don't know how far your school or your town is from where you live?.All these bikes above are two strokes with sport type tuning,a four stroke engine would be more reliable and plod along much slower but be nowhere near the fun of the two strokes.Good Luck
