lucky Cal

The Ducati was a shit ride for Cal, he ought to be pleased Dovi got it, at least he'll have no problems getting by him next year, so long as he signs for Tech3 again, only problem he's going to have is changing Bradley's nappies before, during and after the racing, lol.

Mad or what?

Signed dovi for his technical & testing skills, ffs they had 79 time gp winner and 7 time moto gp champion in their team, you don't win that amount of gp,s & championships for no reason, this be another career disaster waiting to happen,as jerry burgess said in mcn today 22 aug, they need to re think their structure from top to bottom, they've messed cal around, I think it's just the way the Italians do business, throw it all up in the air & see how it lands.

A good signing for both parties. Far better than the drama/dross Ducati have endured for the past 20months or so. 'Steady Eddy Dovi' is the way forward for Duke. Looking forward to it.

well done

just means crutchy will beat him fair and square on another bike, tech 3 need to step up the rate of pat tho otherwise they will just have nappies to change all year.

well done Dovi

Obviously a very confident young man to take on such a task and all credit to him.
Dovi is confident...Ducati are confident but that was exactly the same as when Rossi signed nearly 2 years ago and look what happened there..Nothing!
Ducati to this date have not really found someone capable of consistent results apart from Casey so one thing is pretty clear if they don't improve the bike another rider will waste 2 years of his career.
I really hope they can have success soon but it is going to be one hell of a job in all respects.

Will be weird when

the Tech 3 bikes beat Dovi and we all know that on the satellite bike he was bagging podiums. Does Cal have a job or not?

With Lil Ginger coming, or signed, take your pick,....does Herve re-sign Cal with his shitty season the past 2 years or should Herve take the more talented riders available?

I would think Scott Redding, Andrea Ianonne, Pol Espargaró, Thomas Luthi and some of the current Motogp riders deserve a shot. Rather than a rider who failed badly his first year and is on course to be shitty his 2nd year too. I don't see him holding that 5th spot too long. If he was going to be good, he should be getting podiums already.

dovi to ducati

You wonder why Cal is surprised he hasnt got the ducati ride, might have something to do with being lied to for four months and being told he was their first choice.

Good luck Andrea! I'm sure you will do well!! Ducati needs someone who will try, no just coast along, which is what Rossi is doing at the moment. He's a disgrace and should move on now, as Melandri did. He's taking money under false pretences and defrauding Ducati and their millions of fans. Guess we'll have to wait 'til next year unless something happens?? Ciao
