Pressure...

Like i said, JL had Stoner's number and was already owning his ass before this crash!! Stoner knew this and simply crashed out due to the extreme pressure he is under from JL and Dani who are currently spanking him in the standings...

Stoner stacked it coz his ambition simply outweighed his talents BIG time - He just can't cope with pressure!!

Not a big Stoner fan - but a great loss to the championship. however it's not over Yamaha might still have issues & Pedrosa isn't a stranger to injury so who knows.

Is that really fair or even accurate ?

Sorry mate but look at this..

Stoner: 'I'd like to be back 1 or 2 races before Phillip Island"

Stoner: "its disappointing that in Indy we had a good chance to get some points back but now it's finished our championship"

I'd say my prediction was pretty "accurate" mate... As for the accuracy of my "pressure" theories, they are as accurate as all the orange numpties that say Rossi crashed out of the championship hunt in 2010 due to the pressure he was under from Lorenzo... Agreed?

Fair?? C'mon, don't be soft!!

just like Stoner was owning Lorenzo in 2011 which forced him to crash at Phillip Island.

and did you forget that Stoner had owned Lorenzo just a week ago at Laguna. why no mention of that ?

delusional theories.

Big Mac..

do they do fortune cookies with the food at Ronald's cos you're wishing there pal?

Moaner makes some valid points in my very humble opinion. Especially the one about Rossi and Lorenzo that was instigated by orange fans.

If the shoe fits and all that..or in this case, the oversized Alpinestar.

You are totally right Nick...

And you are proving my point even further..... They are delusional theories!!

Please tell the rest of the "orange panty wearing brigade" while you are at it... Thanks sweet cheeks..

pity

I'm surprised that he's pulled out. I know this track will place more stress on his leg but given what's at stake and managing to race last weekend, I'd have thought he'd race. He's no Doohan that's for sure.

how would you know, tris?

I assume that you are not an orthopedic surgeon.

Even if you are, you have examined neither Stoner's current injury nor Doohan's of c15 years ago.  Yet, somehow, you are able to assess the response of each rider to these injuries on an arbitrary "bravery" scale.

Quite brilliant.

Even to a layman Doohan's injury looked much worse.  Plus as I said he raced last weekend.
