Replacement Shock

Last year I replaced the shock on my VFR800 with a Hagon unit.  It seems well built and gives a very good ride quality.  They are rebuildable too.  You'll pick up a Hagon for your machine for around £300.

K100RS RAM Shock

Cheers Marcus, but I went for the RAM shock at £245 delivered. Fitted it today, bike transformed from beast to beauty.  Three clicks on the damper, 45mm of exposed adjuster thread on spring, done in 5mm increments.(I'm 73kg) 3 yr warranty, rebuild kit £20, UK made. K-bike forums suggest they are the best on market at any price and don't rust out as body is alloy.
