Brno MotoGP: Dani Pedrosa hails ‘unbelievable’ victory

Dani Pedrosa hailed his stunning last gasp Brno MotoGP victory as ‘unbelievable’ as he piled the pressure on fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo in the 2012 title hunt. Barely split by more than two or three-tenths for the entire 22-lap race, Pedrosa came out on top of a thrilling final lap duel to claim his third win of the season. The pair exchanged...

22 perfect error free laps

from the worlds best two riders, never seperated by more than 0.2 of a second. Like Bradl says it's their incredible metronomic clinical perfection as much as their outright speed that sets these two apart from all the rest (except a busted Aussie). Pure genius, both deserved that victory, but I'm glad Dani got it!

Keep go'n Dani

Great win and hope Dani goes all the way from here. Although that pass by Jorge was one of the gutsiest moves I've seen.

Didn't we have a couple of disgruntle fans a few days back say'n that MotoGP was boring ??

Congratulations Dani

Congratulations to Dani on the win,A truelly amazing ride from a rider that many have considered to be the weakest of the four Aliens ( myself included ).Not any more it would seem,Oh No.Dani has seriously moved up recently,& it would seem with Casey sliping backwards in the championship Dani has stepped in to rally Honda & seriously uped his game.

Dani is known for fading at the end of races & slipping off the pace. Not any more it would seem,he just got faster & his consistancy was incredible.Weve always seen Dani riding injured in the magority of his races & this & his general fitness has obviously played a magor part in his race results.

Dani has always been fast but has struggled with both race pace & consistancy, but know he seems to have solved these issues.I always said he was almost but not quite,he just lacked that little some thing.Well it seems hes found it.After this race nobody is going to challenge Danis Alien status & hes defenatly not the 4th or weakest any more.

After the battles on the track and in the press, the cold shoulders and king of spain 'forcing' a handshake, how refreshing to see these two guys battling hard, fast and clean. The race was an exemplary performance by the best in the world.

Just funny how, with CS out and VR way down the order, the posts are all a bit quiet.
Its almost as if people only coem online to take the piss...

Well done Dani

And hopefully we will get this type of close racing for the remainder of the season for the final showdown in Valencia!

A fit Dani is......

......a fast Dani. Generally plagued by injuries, but so far this season (touch wood) he's physically good and it would seem mentally too. A fantastic final lap from both riders that'll definately put the wind up JL. It'll be an interesting second half of the season. Depending on the extent of Stoners injury, and Jorges (unlucky again Ben) on his own, will Casey play 'wing man' to Dani?

I would think that Jorge is just beginning to get worried. Since they brought the new bike out it's been 3 nil to Honda. This race was a closer finish but the last two were easy wins for Dani and Casey. As long as Dani doesn't get injured.....

The 2 questions are

1. Will Stoenzo come back and take the team order that is necessary for Dani to win this World Championship?

2. Or, will he come back and want to rack up his win percentage and not care about helping Dani's chances for WC?
