Poll: Will Rossi succeed on a Yamaha?

The Doctor's back on a bike capable of winning next year, but does it still have what it takes? Not only is he back on a Yamaha, with whom he has already won world titles, but Jorge Lorenzo has underlined that there will be no number one rider in the team in 2013.

Legend.

Because Rossi has won more races than anyone in the top class, screw the titles..

Well, that's what a Casey Stoner fan was saying to me the other day..inbetween the tears as he realised his hero would never actually back a title up, self-inflicted injury or not.

Another lucrative contract. He'll call that a success.

As for on the black stuff.............................. The odd podium here and there for the 'GOAT' will keep his fans happy, bouyant and praying for an even better performance in 2014/15/16/17/18/19................. Poor souls.

Yes, Rossi's fans maybe praying for better performance, but at least it is a step up from the orange brigade praying in 2013/14/15/16/17................that bucktooth comes out of retirement.

By mid-season 2013 we'll all know the answer - until then all comments are mere speculation and bear no substance.

True enough BB  we could see he was in trouble as soon as he threw his leg over the Ducati.  Might take a couple of sessions to get back into the 'groove' though.  Hope he can we can't afford to lose aliens at 2 per season.

Lost Aliens our Intergalatic Geriatric

We had four, were down to three from the start of 2011 (Valencia test 2010 made that very clear). Who knows we might be back up to three or four again 2013. But the fallen sun god isn't about to reclaim that status. Remembering club membership involves regular wins.

Obviously from your comments, you are trying to convince yourself that Rossi won't start winning again and you are shitting yourself in case he does. For some unknown reason you have a hangup about him, perhaps your former boyfriend who cheated on you was a Rossi lookalike and you feel like you must slag him off.

Rossi

thinks that his return to Yamaha is the answer to all his problems. Well, he might just find out that it wasn't the bike but him!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, it doesn't really make much difference as he has lost, almost, all his credibility, coasting around on the Desmo instead of pushing it to the max!! Bottom line is, when he swings his leg over the M1 he won't have any excuses left! I'm not sure what he is doing carrying on at Ducati when he's not prepared to push the bike, well, that's what he used to say about Stoner!! Lol!!!! Ciao

Nostro our Doubtful Oracle

I await with baited breath your comments when we see Rossi split Lorenzo and Pedrosa on the timing sheets at the Valencia test sessions or will your silence be deafening ?
