Poll: What's Jonathan Rea going to do on Stoner's Honda?

British World Superbike star Jonathan Rea will ride Casey Stoner's factory Honda at the Misano and Aragon MotoGPs in the next few weeks while the Aussie recovers from surgery. So how excited should we be? pollcomment

good to see rea taking it steady so far,hes in the 1 50s  thats  not that bad so far, bautista was doin  1 50s in a test in june here, and hes had  3 seasons in the class so reas comparable,he should get a little faster tomorrow,he will go a lot better at the gp as he will have to learn fast, and will really be on it that weekend, top ten is silly talk, peeps i take him for top six,and surprise a few,rea aint lit the touch paper yet

Give him a chance

He's got over half a seasons experiance of the new 1000cc bikes to catch up on plus new tyres to learn. He may be on one of the best bikes out there in a top team, but it's a big ask. He is a quality rider who's not scared to push. At least the RCV isn't outdated machinery unlike his CBR in SBK where he has been pushing it to try to get a decent result. He'll come good after all, you don't win the Suzuka 8 Hours by being shit.

rea is shite

He has done nothing for years except take people out like bowling balls. The occasional wins combined with his gumption and potential add up to nothing. Quit blaming the bike. Rea has balls no doubt but tallent wise for world superbike he is average. For moto gp he might as well be a recruited test rider for all the results hw will get. I predict he will finish behind depuniet and probably a couple other crt bikes. He cannot develop a cold as has been witnessed by his useless several seasons with a championship capable team

Wait...

Stoner hasn't yet declared that he won;t race in Aragon. Misano is a NO. But I haven't yet heard the official word to when he wants to come back. To be honest Stefan should of got the factory support for his LCR Honda. Rea will finish somewhere in 9 or 10th, or crash.
