i got my partner to get a bike on hire purchase for me.. the finance company is the owner - untill hp is clear - and she is the registered keeper - to comply with hp company... can i still get insurance for the bike since i'm not the legal owner and not the registered keeper?

You need to tell the insurance company when they ask.

Also, I believe bikes on HP must have fully comp. ins.

ebike and some other insurances comp wont cover you if you are not the owner of the bike. ie not got the bike in your name.

as i had to put my dads bike he lent to me
in my name to get cover as i could not with out
