Checa's Ducati lost ground to the other factories this year same problem as Rea's Honda - have to push too hard to get half-decent results - hence crash bang wallop. Next seasons bikes should be more competitive.

have to say that the far less experienced Davide Giugliano seems to be making a better fist of racing the Duke lately than Checa is..

Although the bloke's a liability anywhere on track.. not that that's a bad thing.. a cat amongst the pigeons ...etc!
