I thought you may be the one to respond to this!

Anger is one of the three poisons – the other two are greed and ignorance – that are the primary causes of the cycle of samsara and rebirth. Purifying ourselves of anger is essential to Buddhist practice. Further, in Buddhism there is no such thing as “righteous” or “justifiable” anger. All anger is a fetter to realization.

So Mr Nostrodamus purify yourself.

The monkey you refer to is a fictional character in a Chinese epic created by Wu Cheng en in 630 AD and he paid for his sins by being imprisoned under a mountain for 500 years.  He was released by a young Tang monk called XuanZang (Tripitaka) to undertake a pilglimage to bring the Buddhist sutras to the West.   Tripitaka was in fact a young male but in the TV series of Monkey was played by beautiful actress - Masako Natsume - who tragically died in 1985 of leukemia aged 27.   Incidentally Buddha always said "No violence Monkey"

Nostro I think we had better not continue this discussion on the MCN site as the subject will be of limited interest to others.  Thank you for your interest.

Money makes the world go around..

Seems Schwantz HAD a contract to promote with Dorna but not COTA, who probably promised him one for his input and bringing Dorna to the table.

Did COTA know KS34's contract with Dorna to promote would be in breach by July 28th, if he hadn't tied up a deal with them?

Maybe Dorna told them to sit tight until after that date, whereupon they could cancel Schwantz' contract and start working on a fresh deal direct with the circuit owners..no 3fourTexasMGP middleman, ergo more money?

Like his partner who got similar treatment with regard to F1 at COTA..Revvin Kevin was clearly in the loop and did some valued work there. The lawyers will settle spondoolies out of court.

Well that's pretty clear cut

This Dorna statement tends to indicate that Schwantz was naive at best here. And old 34 thinks he's the man to run a GP team. Hmmm....
