1990 kmx 125

Hi all, I am a new rider at the age of 41!! and have just bought a 1990 kmx 125. A bike I've wanted since they came out, any way I have a small problem with the indicators, The previous owner has fitted some after market indicators and up until last week they worked fine. now they don't! at all!! not staying on, nothing at all, almost as though some one has cut the feed to them, on closer inspection I found that one of the bulbs has blown and as they are stupidly I tiny am unable to get the dead bulb out. I have checked the voltage on the battery and charging circuit all good showing 13.5v when running, every thing else electrical works fine. Lights, horn dash lights. Please help!! I'm stumped!! could it be just the one bulb shutting it all down?

Flashers

Welcome symon,a picture or a make would be helpfull,if no screws in the lenses or slots to flick them off then they should come out rearwards bulb job lot.

I suggest going back to the originals which are bigger and run cooler when working.

winkers!!

all sorted now thank you, ebay for 4 new ones bit bigger similar to the old yammy dt ones. binned old ones, and found that the previous owner had wired them wrong, so wrong that when I wired the new ones the front left and rear right were flashing. HOW it worked before is a complete mystery, took about 4 hours in total but all good now. Cheers jaffa90 for your input.
