chasing the impossible dream

what is with the double standards of the DoT?
If I wanted to do my bike license Id have to sit 2 modules then be resticted upon passing to 33bhp for 2 years but yet If I was 17 again and passed my car test, if I had the  money technically I could go out and buy a ferrari. Where is the common sense in this?

Impossible dream

It is not an impossible dream - it's perfectly doable.

The system is neither sensible or fair but that can be said about a lot of things in life.  If you want to do it then do it.  Don't let the bastards stand in your way.

It's the EU I'm afraid.....

This stems from the implementation of various EU directives whose aim it seems is to make motorcycling more and more difficult - couple it with thenon modification rules, the european wide Control Technique/MoT proposals, the compulsory wearinf of florescent clothing, registration of all petrol or diesel, but not electric,  PTWs ie the SOLEX I have that is petrol powered with a top speed of 23 mph, but not electric bikes that have similar or higher top speeds:mad:

Check out FEMA and MAG to get an idea of the sort of codswallop they are trying to implement!!
