New sporty 125 for £2399

Learners looking for sports bike styling on a budget can now get the 125RR from WK Bikes for £2399. Chinese-made it has adjustable shocks and USD forks with twin front discs. It's available in red or white. Would you go for a WK over a more expensive 125 like the Yamaha R125? Let us know below.

A mate of mine...........

................had a Chinese bike.

Every time I went round to his house to go for a ride he was either fixing some problem or bolting something back on that had fallen off. Take my advice,,,,,,,,,,,steer WELL clear. Go for a S/H Yamaha R125 instead.

They are a very mixed bag. Did some work on a Sinnis bike (Qingqi) and that was pretty good. Also had a scooter (forget the name but never seen one since- see my original post) which was brand new, never ridden and the fork caliper mount sheared off (!) when being pushed around the workshop. Thankfully not when a 17 year old was stopping at a set of traffic lights.

There are some decent bikes out there but do your research.

Yeah, right!

I've just spotted the bike on the website of WK.

C'mon folks, the specs of this bike are horrible:

Max power 8.5 KW,

DRY (I repeat: DRY!) weight: 150 Kg.

Sounds like a REALLY sporty one (caution, ironic ;-))

i my opinion, chinese bikes suck! A friend of mine got a chinese scooter, the engine of which blew up after about 5000 kilometers!

So far,

Greetings from cold Germany (hope my english is understandable, though)
