Ben Spies explains Ducati switch

Ben Spies has given his reasons for abandoning plans to return to World Superbikes in 2013 to sign a deal to race a factory-backed Ducati in MotoGP. The Texan looked certain to be heading to World Superbikes to partner Marco Melandri in a BMW Italia effort when he revealed in Indianapolis that he if he was racing in 2013 it would...

Direction ?

With all those dukes and a new motley crew on board, they are going to need a lot of time in the play pen to sort out which direction to take the duke, I suggest they need to factor in some off road ability, to improve their exit time from the gravel traps lol

When the riders are looking for another contract for a team, do they get to ride the bike first? Surely if you are signing a 1,2,3 year contract you would want to try the product first. But then again, I suppose they are just worried about the money and any contract is better than nothing.

Humours not really your forte

is it nostro. Best just leave it. Looks like Jonny Rea has mostly managed to stay on the Honda during practice. Makes you wonder why stoner crashed his so badly and fked up the entire year. The bike's obviously very fast and easy to ride, but casey still couldn't manage to steer it round without messing up. Retirement (surrender) really is the best option for him. Not long now.

Also Danny has kept on it as well. All these people who thought Stoner was the 'second coming' must be really disappointed, he is just an ordinary bloke who cracked under the pressure of it all. Sad to see really.

It was Stoners bones that cracked under the pressure . All the best wishes for Jonathan Rea , but he's way off Stoners pace I dont think they can be compared yet . Cal is 3rd on the grid again for tomorrows race .
