Danny Kent poised for Moto2 switch

Danny Kent is poised to add his name to a long line of British talent that’s raced for the French-based Tech 3 squad in 2013. The 18-year-old is close to finalising a move to Herve Poncharal’s Tech 3 Racing Moto2 squad as replacement for Bradley Smith. It will mean 75% of Poncharal’s four rider line-up in Moto2 and MotoGP will be British,...

Danny Kent

Lets see if Danny is one who can ride moto 2. The number of amazing 125 riders who cant grasp moto2 is shocking : DiMeglio ,Simon , Terol and some more i cant think of .In the past these riders would have gone to factory or semi-factory 250's and been round about the top 5 or 6 riders , some of them now are nowhere ,

Tech 3

Whilst it's good news that Herve is giving British riders opportunities, I hope the bike is good enough  -  be better to see him on Marquez' old bike...

I support all the British riders but I have to say that if Kent gets the tech 3 ride he's a very lucky boy. He's had one of the best bikes on the grid this season and done fuck all with it.

needs....

to pull his finger out.  He's now on a competitive machine, fast in practise but not good enough in actual races.  Very disappointing at the weekend, let's hope he can do better in Moto2, for my money I always thought Webb was a better rider, he also has a new team for next year but again in Moto3, so let's wait and see.

kent

reminds me of smith, not aggressive enough, quick for a couple of laps then drops to mid pack, hope he goes well, but like others say, he has a good bike and team and should be in the top 3 in moto3.
