New KTM 1190 Adventure breaks cover

This official brochure pic of KTM’s all-new 1190 Adventure has leaked out of the factory ahead of its scheduled unveiling at the Cologne Show on October 2. Apparently, KTM themselves mistakenly posted the brochure page on its own website, where it was quickly picked up by other sites, before taking the image down again. As expected it confirms the spec and style...

Sign me up, I'll take one.

Only if its sub £7000 (>£10,000?). Manufacturers are in self destruct mode. IMO. Mint looking piece of kit that I'll have to wait 5 years to own. then there'll be something else I'll want and have to wait for......

Tend to agree about the dull looks although it's still the only  big adventure bike with any real off-road ability. Whatever happened to the Adventure R 1090 or 1290? Or an Adventure 700/800?

@Seoulmon

I'll take a stab and say the "anti-hopping kupplung" is a slipper clutch.

I'm a ktm fan but this just doesn't look mean enough. It might look better in the flesh, but I doubt it. Shame.
